Like the title says, not sure on what to do right now.
I worked in warehouses for a bit but got laid off and am trying to find new work. Decided it was time to go back to college rather than keep on working in dead end jobs.
The closest thing I had a passion for was in graphic design but obviously, I did not pursue that career path. Mostly due to it being super competitive and cut throat where I live and it's super oversaturated.
I'm not sure if I can make good enough designs to stick out and make a proper living out of it, especially due to my age where I need to get a proper salary soon.
Should I go back to college to get a GD degree anyways? It'll be mostly out of pocket this time. And I'm not sure if it's worth it or if it will even pay off.
Is there a compromise that I can do? Like get an IT degree but take design courses and design in my free time and go to UX/UI design?
