Has anyone ever regretted quitting their job for another one?

I recently received a job offer that I plan on taking because of pay, the opportunity to learn more, and moving up in the career ladder.

The thing is I enjoy my current job, team, and boss very much. I feel like absolute crap that I'll have to tell them I'm leaving. Our whole team has grown into a close-knit group and it pains me that I'm going to break up the gang.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.
