I've had a bit of a bad run over the last few years. I held a position for six months, and left because the company stopped paying their vendors, making my job nigh impossible, and to move cross country with my fiance.
I spent a year in my next position. It started as supporting one facility with 600 people to supporting two facilities with a total population just over 1300 and mentoring two other managers at my same level. All this with no pay increase.
I've been in my current position for just over 5 months and things are starting to go downhill. The position was originally working remotely to support 13 facilities across 2 business units of the company. Total travel was 50%. Well, one business unit doesn't like having remote employees and have started saddling me with extra requirements that no other employee has. These requirements are going to push the travel to 75%-90% of the time. At this point, my relationship isn't going to survive that kind of travel.
On the positive side, each job move has been an increase in title and pay.
So my question is, how much damage is it going to do to my resume if I have to move jobs again? Because as I told them when I was hired, my fiance and relationship comes first.
