Hi redditers, 3 years ago i decided to take a career break traveling the whole world. It lasted for 2 years.
Since i returned home i made living trading stock online and didn't returned to office life.
Im actively looking for job now and have found that the gap really haunts me with few chances of interview.
Surely saying sitting at home for 1+ year is not a good choice. I know i screw it and made a bad decision.
One of my oversea friend agreed i can make up a position in his company to cut the gap bit shorter, and i don't feel comfortable doing it, afraid of being caught. Or should i just lengthen my travel and say i was back recently?
Thank you for your input. :)
