I posted a little earlier but l think I did a lousy description of my situation.
I’ve been a full time student and employee for 7 years for both undergrad and grad school, it’s been a hell of a ride. Moved between states yada yada. Anyways, I accepted a job shortly after completing grad school. Interviewed 3 times for the position, super legit company. Got an offer, started three weeks later, then shit got weird. I was hired in a change management environment. Director was assigned to the department to reshape it. I was hired to replace someone who was still there, my second week in he resigned and I took over all his work, third week in I had a new manager. None of this was mentioned during the interview process. Ultimately this caused a lot of discomfort and trust breaking for me. I don’t even feel like I function normally at this job. I’ve only been here for 5 months and just have a bad taste in my mouth towards management. I’ve been given an offer for another position at a different company; better commute, better pay, and I only had to phone interview for it twice. It’s for a large healthcare corporation under their new pharmacy division. Is it too soon to leave? What should my reason be if I choose to bounce?
