Should I reapply to this job after it was taken down and updated?

To get to it: A few weeks ago I applied to a job I'd really like. The listing originally had a section saying you could email the company your application, as well as having a field you could fill in to do so. I ended up doing both because it honestly did not make it clear how it expected you to apply.

So good news is that from my own end, I can see that they have looked at my profile and event went as far as check out a more specific, a bit out of the way, request for my portfolio I made in my letter. So this should be overall a pretty good thing for me, seeing how they chose to do that extra step.

However, the job listing was reposted about a week ago, (along with all their other positions at the same time) but the only change I saw was they removed the part saying to email them an application (which already seemed oddly placed so I see why it was removed.) and to use the in field instead. However, I am worried that because it was reposted I have been thrown out automatically due to the company being so large.

Just wanted some advice. Doesn't seem the job was reposted because a lack of finding someone yet but because they wanted to correct the listing. Was feeling pretty confident and I'd hate to know I missed my pretty good chance due to a technicality and then chose not to reapply.

tldr - Do you think my first application should be perfectly viable and was not tossed automatically from the job listing correction?
