So I was in a store where I had applied for a different position and I asked to speak to a manager to inquire about my application. While they really didn't need anyone in the area that I had applied to, she asked if I was interested in working the front of the shop. We went back to her office and had a very positive and enthusiastic conversation, to the point where we were working out which weekends I would be working and which ones I wouldn't so I could see my kids. Even though we met in person, I still had to apply online, and she mentioned that the application doesn't show up on her end for 24 hours (this was late in the day). She gave me her personal number to let her know when I applied. I had to do some situational assessments and some personality assessments, which have been fodder for my anxiety (as an FYI, I have an anxiety disorder). I know nothing is for certain until you sign, but should I really be anxious over this?
