Exit interview

Is there a professional/tactful way to decline the exit interview? And are there any repercussions to not completing one? (Would it affect my eligibility for rehire in the future, for instance?). What wording should I use? If they force me into one and i can’t request a written survey rather than face-to-face interview, how can I avoid any pitfalls? Are there any documents I legally need to sign? How do I professionally push back when they pressure me? Thanks in advance!
