So I started working a job through a temp/hiring agency. The job is from another company that was hosting a temporary project, but I'm interested in working with the company past this. I've really been trying to show I have good work ethics (coming on time, above and beyond work) and I've gotten compliments and feel like I'm in good standing from/with my managers/supervisors/team leads. It's been a little over a month, should I ask if they will let me work for the company past this project? What are my chances of success with getting hired?
Tldr: found a good job I like and feel like I'm in good standing with management, but it's a temporary project hosted by another company, but I want to work for the company, should I ask to be hired?
Edit: forgot to mention it's a job in disaster recovery, asked the big boss of the project and he said he had a bunch of people in mind to continue forward with for future projects (hiring directly) including me.
