Worried that a job might end up over working me on salary (>40 hours a week), not sure if I should reject it or try it out (its 2k miles away)

I quit my toxic job earlier this month and now have been hunting for about 3 weeks. A job 2000 miles away got back to me, pays 60k a year + 3k bonus and 2k moving budget. It is very small, 6 employees. They said they were very busy, and the CEO who interviewed me had mentioned how they're very busy and need someone new to help lower the work load on the employees, and he said something about how they are trying to figure out a better work life balance and how its easy to get carried away with work and stay late. Then, on the job offer it said 8-5pm, but this is subject to change due to company needs.

This seems like a red flag to me, like they are probably going to train me fast they said then throw me into production (its a tech job), and I feel like theyre going to make me work over 40 hours a week and I am really worried. I emailed in the job offer asking about it but its been a day with no reply so far. Maybe just beacuse its the weekend, but I am really nervous. They want me to start fast, and were very VERY quick to hire me. They verbally offered the job when I had the 2nd interview over Zoom. I honestly felt like the CEO who interviewed me had a car salesman aura around him, something felt off about him.

But, its an opportunity in my field and it would be exciting to go to a new place and have better pay than my previous job. I was making 45k before, now this is 60k. Though, for example if I am working 50 hours a week it really is only like 23 an hour rather than around 29 an hour due to increased hours, and i have a bad feeling they'd do that to me.

In the very small amount of glass door reviews, one of them had said that the CEO/management needs to set more realistic goals and stop firing employees, and stop working employees over hours and have better time management. Another said management sucks too, so I am worried.

The HR/executive assistant who did my first phone interview started only a month previously, makes me wonder if there was turn over recently.

I live at home with my parents, no rent, small car payment, very small phone payment, decent savings, I need to pay my credit card off but its on a 0% APR for another year so not too worried, so I am just wondering if I should just reject this offer and wait till I get a better one (not nessicarily better pay, but just better situation/company).

Advice??

tl;dr: Got job offer 2000 miles away, would help advance me in my field, pays more than current job, but there were red flags in the interview and job offer pointing towards me working over 40 hours a week on salary and a couple bad glass door reviews warning about that worry me. Reject and keep looking? Or take and risk it.
