I have been thinking of handing my resignation after being in the company for 2 years, my local line managers are great people being considerate and empathetic towards us, but what is pushing me to want to leave the company is the overall work culture and vision of the company I feel is not healthy for itself (ie people keeping their heads down a lot, unreasonably high expectations and very tight deadlines, "expectations" to work OT regularly and not "once in a while when necessary", not addressing issues, overcomplicating things...a lot more than it needs to be...etc)
I have my resume, linkedin profile...etc updated and plan to give my line managers about 3-4 weeks of notice period before the date I plan to leave while offering to make any transition as smoothly as possible.
I know that I should not reveal my hand of leaving the company immediately till I get another offer or show my hand early...etc. What things should I also consider for the plan on leaving the company in a professional matter and in a positive note ?
