Is there a 'job gap' service out there?

Many employers are using external services for verification of employment. Call a number, enter an identifier, and the automated system spits out that the person worked from date to date. Is there any service out there providing similar service where I might be able to input a set of dates, spit out a phone number and a code that I could send to potential employers in place of my resume gap?
