(teenager, first job) I got told to "go home" today. Am I fired? do I go to work tomorrow?

I have been wanting to quit my job for quite some time, but never did it because my parents opposed it. So naturally, I guess I have been losing enthusiasm.

Today, I was not able to do something that I should have known how to do. My manager got mad and said "you know what? just go home", and to be honest, I jumped at the offer and got out of there.

Am I fired? should I text the manager asking if I work tomorrow?

A bit off topic, but what will happen if I just quit and do not give in two weeks? Is it that necessary for a fast-food job?
