I'm an undergraduate interested in human rights / refugee-related summer internships, preferably ones that deal with health/policy. I have a lot of experience interning/volunteering with immigrants/refugees, but I am struggling to write a cover letter tailored to each internship program. Do you guys have any advice for writing cover letters and formatting resumes for these internships?
Also, any suggestions for human rights orgs to apply to, especially ones that take undergraduates? I'm planning on applying to the following (I've interned with the IRC before), but I feel like I may be missing out on some others. Also, summer internships haven't really opened yet, but I would like to begin working on applications now.
I plan on applying to the following organizations:
- Human Rights Watch
- Physicians for Human rights (really want this one)
- IRC
- World Health Org
