I got an offer in the airline industry in drug abatement. I'm a pharmacist by profession (UK Master of Pharmacy grad), and have a particular interest in the pharma industry. This job looks incredibly interesting. Based on their needs, I feel as though my skills are a perfect match. I can help them succeed. The people seem great. Start pay is good. Here's my issue: how would I switch back into pharma? Is this even possible? The other issue is that this job is located in NYC whereas I am currently renting in a MCOL city with a car. I'd have to break my lease and also sell my car - a potential loss of up to $4k for the lease break fee and for selling my car.
I want the job but I'm not sure it's the best move for my career. It's still early days for me - entering my mid 20's. Any advice is appreciated, you don't even have to answer the questions, any kind of opinions or input is appreciated. Feel free to ask questions too, I'll try my best to reply ASAP.
