I hope you're doing well. Just have questions about referencing. One of the jobs that responded back with rejection and I asked them the reason and they said this
" I would work on getting 3 solid A+ references to reassure future employers even more."
After asking them in detail they told me to get better references as one of them refused to give me a reference.
Ik that and I will do that, ty. Now my final question is
One of my friends that I have known for several years has assigned me a big project that I did while freelancing, and I have worked with her in my high school until today as a volunteer; should I use her to verify my own work that is related to work? Or tell her to give me a reference based on volunteering for the work I have done for many years (4 years)? this work will validate my social skills and the self-employed would verify my skills
