I applied to my dream company a few months back, completed the assessment but never heard back. The company keeps reposting the position so I decided to re-apply a few weeks ago. Last week some recruiter calls me asking if I still want to move forward with the position. Of course I said yes so she told me she would email me some assessment. A day passes, then the weekend, monday...so this morning I emailed her just in case she forgot or whatever. No reply. This evening I get a call from her basically rejecting my application because my old assessment was not to their liking. I was beside myself. I kind of just exploded internally and have been in tears all night. I'm trying to tell myself if their recruiting/HR is such a disorganized shitshow, the rest of the organization can't be too far off and I probably dodged a bullet. But it just feels like they're dragging the knife. I was really looking forward to having another chance with this company so to get a call like that again darn near killed me. Anyways I will be blacklisting that company forever. I wish those politicians/media could see how awful some of these companies behave before they throw around that "nobody wants to work" nonsense. Smh
Maybe I'm overreacting. I've been trying to toughen up but this one just hurt extra hard
