Jury duty 2 weeks into new job

I just got home from my third interview and expect a offer by the end of the week. I opened the mailbox when I got home and found a summons to jury duty on December 1st. What do I do?

If I tell the new company they may look unfavorably to me as a candidate and if I don't tell them it's a bad way to start a new job even though it's a protected leave because it's jury duty. Not sure when I should reveal that info, any tips?
