Ive been interviewing with a company recruiter has sent me and been in contact with recruiter for nearly a month. Recruiter has always asked me what my salary expectations to which I replied a range I would take, recruiter has always countered with would you be comfortable taking $X (which is $Z less than the lower end of my expectations) and that $X was a great offer for new grad (its not its horrible)
I received another offer WAY higher than my expectations and told recruiter to tell me what EXACTLY is this company offering to which they responded “they didn’t say and that it depends on my performance in final interview”, after pushing for a bit I asked whats their salary range and recruiter threw out number close to my current offer.
Am I being bullshitted? im not planning to join this company as I highly doubt they can match and I am ready to sign my other offer.
