Orientation starts monday for new job tested covid negative after exposure still symptomatic from prior illness? Must be negative and no symptoms to start

Hi,

This is may be not all to common question but I'm hoping someone has some advice might be a bit long to ensure the timeline is understood. The week before Halloween I got incredibly sick like slept 3 days cant remember half the week sick got tested for covid 2 times negative (have been vaccinated but I know break throughs happen). Doctors weren't sure what it was said just a cold no meds. Fatigue and body aches got mostly better coughing and sneezing didn't all this happened while I was looking for a job. I got a job offer last Monday to start orientation this coming Monday. Saw my PCP on Wednesday put on antibiotics its helping some but still some terrible coughing/sneezing fits and new fatigue, headache and body aches (could be stress or PMS). Wednesday night I found out Id been exposed for 2 days by 2 people (my brother and niece where I spend a lot of free time). Got rapid tested earlier today negative.

On Friday I sent HR an email explaining I had been exposed, would be rapid tested Saturday and knew this could impact start date. They said their protocol is if I am negative AND have no symptoms I can start Monday. If I am Positive OR have any symptoms they'll have to move me to the next orientation (2 weeks). I'm negative but the symptoms I had and have been having are consistent with a covid diagnosis. I'm worried about me going there having a coughing or sneezing fit (or fatigue) and not making a good impression or worrying them about me taking covid seriously. I am not hurting for money but this is an amazing opportunity I don't want to mess up (and I could either way by showing up and appearing sick or letting them know Im symptomatic). Its Saturday and orientation starts Monday morning leaving little time to guarantee any email is read between now and then especially given this is a monday to friday type workplace. What would be the best move going forward to ensure I make the best first impression possible?
