Free time in the office.

I am working in Shipping Industry now for years. In the beginning of my career I worked hard to get where I am now which is a more of a managerial position offered to me earlier this year. However in my current position sometimes there's no work/task to do as I have passed all to my underlings and I'm just monitoring now.

My bosses all are aware about this and I have been free of work for almost a month now, should I be worried that they might not see me valuable anymore? As my underlings now can do basically my job but with fewer salary.
