I walked out on a horrific situation at a retail job recently and started the search again. I have experience in mostly sales and customer service throughout my entire career. When I started applying I almost immediately got scooped up by Tesla for the Gigafactory as a production associate. I've heard bad things about working at the Tesla factory though and I'm somewhat worried. I also got another interview with a company as a repair tech for medical equipment. It's basically a form of IT for medical electronics and equipment. Pays the same but requires multi state travel in my personal vehicle and does not offer any benefits. I've been trying for a very long time to get into IT because that's what has always interested me. I never had any luck getting those kinds of jobs and I mostly gave up. Most of those jobs require a formal education which I don't have. I still cast the line out there. Can't believe someone finally called me back after like 8 years of trying. Not sure which route I should take. Being part of Tesla feels like it's going to boost my resume insanity. On the other hand having an IT job is fulfilling my desire for that career. A job I have been waiting 8 years for.
