Current job: -Mid-level Fortune 500 company -$128k base -Annual COLA ~ 3% -3.5% 401k match plus 3.5% contribution made by company annually. -near top of tech ladder, next promotion wouldn’t be for a decade -4 weeks PTO, flexible work hours, 3 days WFH if desired
Proposed job: Very small therapeutic company (300 employees) -1 year temporary w2 contract role with intent to hire FTE -$100/hr -no PTO while temporary -401k but match unknown -100% remote -medical benefits -company car
Current job is Midwest, proposed job is CA but fully remote so no relocation needed. I have a great boss and enjoy what I do. Work would be the same at proposed job, probably a little more fast paced. What would you do in this situation?
