I have just started an internship in a NICU as a physician before being allowed to make paid shifts there. All the staff is females except the boss (perhaps a coincidence). The boss (a pediatrician) is friendly to doctors but mainly an ass to nurses & paramedics. Usually giving toxic talks to them like "you're the ones who should impose others' respect to you, but if you want to remain a stupid donkey, you'll be considered as so". Today on medical round, he started screaming "who is the donkey nurse who put ECG captor here? Where is this donkey? Call this donkey right now!!!!". The captor was slightly misplaced, which is something he usually gives remarks about, but it truly wasn't worth all this disrespect. I hate being in an environment like that, even though I am not concerned. It's toxic and feel no motivation to go to internship anymore because of his behavior...
