I know this question was brought up elsewhere but I don’t think there’s a scenario that was specific to me. So it’s been two weeks since I interviewed at Job A and I really liked it there. I’ve been in contact with the interviewer there and she said I could feel free to ask for updates as it would take some time. Last week on Friday, she said that the hiring committee would meet this week to discuss the position and candidates. This week on Tuesday, I had interview at Job B and they offered me the job today, same day. But I didn’t really like it and the pay it is really low. So I was wondering if I should communicate this offer to Job A? Would it sound impatient of me? Would they think i was a candidate that had other offers so they would choose someone else that didn’t have as much options? Would it increase my chances? I’m really in need of a job but I don’t want to hate where I work.
