My grandpa is in delicate condition in the hospital and I cant manage to sleep. Will it be too much for me to ask to work from home?

Basically i live with my grandparents and my mom. My grandpa has pneumonia and my mom has to stay with him in the hospital, while i take care of my grandma at home. Im completely exhausted and the pressure of having to relax to sleep and drive to work makes everything worse. I work at an office as a clerk and i mostly work on the computer. I was thinking of asking if i could work from home at least two days but i am worried my reason is not legitimate enough. Will i be asking for too much? if i do ask, how should i phrase it?
