My friend’s mom has worked for a large company for about 35 years. Recently she passed my resume to the VP at a different subsidiary, but same parent company, who she knows and has worked with for a long time. I got an email from talent acquisition asking me to set up an interview, but with no information as to which position they’re looking for (It would be entry level). I asked my friend’s mom and she’s not sure either. I don’t want to disappoint or embarrass my friend’s mom, and this would be a great opportunity for me if I could just stick the landing. I’ve been researching the company and trying to figure out what position they could be hiring for so I don’t make an ass out of myself, but I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to proceed.
