How long does it take for a contract to be sent in (christmas casual retail)?

I recently got a job offer (written and verbal) for a Christmas Casual retail job on 6 October and sent in my acceptance as well as my relevant documents (passport, etc.) the next day on 7 October. The emails says she would follow up with the contract in the following days.

I am wondering how long should I give them before I should enquire about it (if they don't send it in)? I know it's likely they are handling admin stuff and perhaps checking references and eligibility but just wanted to know when to approach them if they don't send it in a week or so maybe?
