So I graduated high school in 2019 and have been working at a Dunkin' Donuts since a little bit before then. I have no college degrees or anything; I've been searching for a new job since February, and I've known for a while that employers are being especially picky right now, which has not helped my hopefulness.
My goal is to move away from anything food, or at least move to a place that's a bit more relaxed. But there's a few catches: I'm short (5'2 woman) and not very strong, so I don't feel like working in a warehouse of any kind would be very suitable; I'm not available to work on Sundays at all, which has lost me pretty much every retail position I've applied to thus far; and since I still live at home, my family has made very strict rules for me (i.e. no overnights, no delivery positions, no gas stations or places I'd be working alone, etc.).
I know the majority of the problem is my end, with all the rules and whatnot. But is there anything at all I could do instead of staying at Dunkin' Donuts? And please, don't tell me I need to move out first. I know I need to, but I need a better paying job to make that happen. Any advice or tips are appreciated :)
