Vacation before resigning

I got a new job today. I’d like to take one week to relax before starting my new job, which starts in three weeks. I have three weeks of vacation that I have not used this year. Should I take one week off and then resign with two weeks notice? Or, give three weeks notice but ask to take vacation for one week?

I live in Ontario, Canada.
