Starting two jobs one week apart. How do I quit the first job but stay on good terms in case I want to work with them later?

I'm starting job A Tuesday, but accepted another position, B, that starts the following Monday pending background check and drug test. I don't want to tell A until B is for sure. What do I tell A once B comes through?
