I start my new job on Monday and it is currently 5:30pm with no word about where I’m supposed to go in the office, when to come in, no written offer letter and no contract yet.
My start date is quickly approaching and I have no idea if I should even show up to the office or what!
I talked to the HR person yesterday and she said she had a draft for the contract and offer letter and just has someone proofing it. She said she would get it to me today but I got nothing.
I’ve got Thursday and Friday to get SOMETHING from them, so naturally I’m starting to get incredibly nervous. I reached out to who would be my managers and received no response.
I’m going to try to reach out to the HR person tomorrow but honestly, what should I do if she doesn’t give me instructions? Just show up on Monday ready to work anyways? Advice?
