People in (junior) digital marketing related roles, have you made a switch to a different subset of your field or completely new field and how did you do it?

Posted this in /career but I think it might suit here better.

I've started a new role working in performance marketing (programattic) running campaigns. I have a few years of background of 'account management' where I was the middle man - somewhat consult on strategy of campaigns (channels/budgets) but mostly take results from the relevant specialist teams and present them to the client.

Recently (~3months) I have been working as an actual specialist running campaigns. I've felt like this before, but even more so now that I'm not enjoying this type of work. The never ending campaigns, needing to constantly check in on them to further optimise (which is unending) do not give me joy. I would prefer to do a job and finish it - is this lazy?

I've been considering quitting but just do not know where to look or what resources to use to figure out my next step.

Ideally I would stay in marketing to try and use my prior experience to get a similar paying role (~70k) but am also unsure of what other areas would be a good long term fit - digital is booming so almost everyone has told me to stay.

I suppose what I'd like to know is, what other areas of marketing (with my niche exp) could I look to jump into? So far, work wise - I'm looking into brand management.

I have other preferances I'd like (WFH flexibility, decent hours - right now i work 9-6) but beggars can't be choosers and I'd like to find a role that fits me first.
