Hey guys. I've been thinking about how to word this for days, and I could make it super long/drawn out, but I've decided to simplify it. Less is often better. I've seen so many posts from you who are struggling in your job searching. Every single job I have ever gotten as an adult was through networking (someone I know, who knows someone). I'm "older" (mid 40s) and you guys are now fighting algos when applying online. I cant... even... imagine. For those of you who are looking and really struggling to find an appropriate job/career, I'd recommend you try to reach out to your peeps (who know someone, who know people) or seek the help of a "career coach", which is often free in the larger communities. If you have questions, post them, and let's help each other bridge these gaps.
