After completing my associates (Applied Science with focus on computer networking and hardware) I started job hunting.
After struggling to nail a job for a month and a half, I took the first job I was offered through an employment agency (TEKsystems).
This job is a "PC technician" for a technology logistics company. We supply laptops, chromebooks, mobile devices etc to schools and businesses in the area.
I was under the impression that I was going to be provisioning and troubleshooting devices, but all I've been doing the first 2 weeks is labeling and putting cases on chromebooks.
Is this really an IT job? I get that entry level positions aren't going to be good jobs but this doesn't feel like real experience. I feel like I'm waisting my time here.
