how bad is it to have to call in sick on your second day?

i just got a 12hr factory job, today/yesterday i had my induction, i was really early. we wen't over all the policies and processes. anyway when i got home i went straight to bed cause i was exhausted and i just woke up and started throwing up and feel like im burning up.
im now having a mini panic cause on the one hand its a food company and policy is if you throw up, you have to remain off site for 48hrs. but on the other i just started.

is there a right answer here or is it all up to them.
