Is the is trick question?-Unsure how to answer.

Hello Redditors: Long story short: A few months back I interviewed with a large company. I made it to the final round and got turned down. The Director that I first interviewed with told me that the team I interviewed with thought the position I was interviewing for wasn't the best fit for me but they liked me (she called my cell to tell me this), but encouraged me to apply for a program within the same company, and told me she would forward my resume to a recruiter. I said I would apply and emailed her thank you for forwarding my resume. She never replied to my email after I had applied and sent her my resume again (THIS WAS A MONTH AGO).

Yesterday I saw the director had looked at my LinkedIn page and today I got an email from a recruiter from the same company for a first round interview for the program I applied to, so I emailed the director I talked to and said thank you for forwarding my resume, and explained I got an interview for the program. She emailed me back this time and said and "Glad to hear (My name). Separately, I was talking to a friend of mine who works at (another big company) who might have some entry-level positions available soon. Would you mind sending me your resume again so I can pass it along to her (if you’re interested)?".

Is this a trick question to see if I am actually looking forward to joining the company or is she actually trying to help? Should I send her my resume?. How should I respond?
