I’m looking into transitioning into a new position with what seems like a decent company, but I’m looking at the health coverage compared to my current company and the family premium is $1700/month versus the $650 I currently pay for a comparable plan. And the company pays for the employee’s cost, so the $1700 is just the difference! So I’m curious what other people are spending, and if I’ve been getting a steal the last several years, or this is actually bonkers.
To note these are both more “premium” plans, which I do plan on using since my family has some health costs, I was getting this premium coverage before without it taking more than 25% of my paycheck.
