Found a job 1 month back, great pay with good benefits and LOTS of overtime, the first 2 weeks were okay, I was getting along with my new co-workers, boss seemed nice too, we left for out of town work 2 weeks ago for 3 weeks, the first day we arrive to the job site, everything changes. The boss is a crazy power tripper constantly cursing and demanding to get shit done, demanding and acts like a big shot, the crew members constantly saying racist shit and I couldn’t deal with it any longer, my room mate has to be the biggest racist I’ve met in my life and hearing him ramble on all night long after working 14 hours a day was taking a toll on me, today my boss lashed out so I basically told him to fuck off, drove back to the hotel, packed all my shit and walked to a different hotel. Now I’m just chilling alone in my hotel room with no ride home, which is 6 hours, no bus services or vehicle rentals. Did I over react? Lol..
