I’ve had 3 interviews and met 5 people in this company so far. I’m scheduled for a (hopefully) last one in a few days. It’s been almost a month since this started so at this point I just want to get it over with lol.
I actually really want this job but I’m confused with when the background check is supposed to happen. The recruiter mentioned that the check is done after I accept the offer but what if they don’t like me then, do they just take it back? I get that maybe it’ll be before signing a contract but wouldn’t it make sense to do the BC before giving an offer?
I’m not particularly hiding anything but I’ve never gone through one before so it’s unfamiliar to me. And it’s a pretty big and well-known financial company so I’m curious what they’d ask from me.
Well if I get an offer anyway.
