Should I lie on personality assessments to get my foot in the door for sales jobs?

I’m generally soft-spoken and laid back, but I have had a lot of success in sales roles. I have been getting a decent amount of responses from my resume, but then getting rejection emails after I take a personality assessment. I feel like employers are looking for very outgoing people to fill sales roles and I just want the opportunity to show them what I’m capable of, you know? I have a proven track record and a resume that is getting attention. But it everything seems to come to a halt once I take the personality test.
