I shouldn't feel bad about this, right?

I recently got my first job offer. The job is remote and I'm not physically in the location that the office is at. I was speaking to the HR rep a few days ago about getting what I'm guessing is some materials that I will need before I begin, and he asked me where I am currently located. I told him and he sighed/groaned and sounded really annoyed, and then he said "okay. I guess we'll just have to send the materials to you then." I was so taken aback by how annoyed he sounded because it's a remote position and I told the recruiter before as well that I am not physically in the location that the office is in. The HR rep didn't even tell me what is being sent to me. I shouldn't feel bad for being an inconvenience or something, right? I know first impressions are important, and I don't want them to have any negative view of me before I even start.
