How soon after hiring is TOO soon to ask for time off?

Hi, I'm 17, and currently going through a background check to work at a convenience store. This is my first job, and I really don't want to screw things up. If I pass this check, I'm going to be hired.

The problem? I have a church summer camp from the 24th to the 27th this month. I forgot to inform about it during my interview, and I really don't know how or even IF it's okay to bring it up once I'm hired.

Last year I couldn't attend camp because I was in the hospital, and this year is the last year I CAN attend before aging out of youth group, so it really means a lot to me.

Is it a douchebag move to ask for time off so soon? Should I just suck it up and stay home from camp this year too?
