So I used to tutor math and work post-mates on the side for extra cash. Not that glorious.
I am trying to apply for entry data-analyst positions just because I want a proper job and decided I really like working with data.
Thing I am confused of is, how do I explain/write about this in a cover letter?
After drafting up something I might send, one part I wrote: a few months ago I decided to delve into data analytics because... then blank. Should I even include this part at all? If so what should I say, be honest and say I realized I enjoyed working with data?
I'm trying to focus less on my 'life story' and more on what skills I would bring of course, but it's hard since I have 0 relevant experience aside amateur/hobbyist projects. Even if I don't bring it up in the cover letter, I'm afraid of it coming in an interview and what I would say then.
