Depressed at Home

Hey guys.

I am set to graduate with my Masters of Science in Psychology in August and have been perusing Indeed for the past month and a half in anticipation. I applied for a lot of jobs where I attended graduate school, but had to suddenly move back home due to unforeseen circumstances. Of course, I ended up getting offers or interviews from companies/universities back there but no luck where I am now or where I would like to be in the next few months. I'm sitting on 73 job applications right now (my earliest from May 20th) and I don't know what to do. I'm antsy, anxious, and very scared. I've only heard rejections and just not feeling the best about myself. This whole being patient thing really isn't my thing apparently...

Perhaps all of this anxiety and fear is stemming from the fact that this is my first time looking for a real job, but I just want a tenative timeline as to when I'll actually hear back from these people.... if at all. For all of y'all waiting or for those who have heard something then... how long did it take? I want to try to be optimistic but the feeling that I'll never get past the "In Progress" stage of my applications is just dragging me down - especially since I've been waiting on some of these for a little over a month now. (P.S. Is this typical??)

Much love and appreciation for all of y'all and wishing all the best!! <3
