I think I messed up on the “what salary do you expect question”

I just received an interview for a lab analyst position. They asked me what salary I would expect and I mentioned that experience is the most important thing but I would expect up to $20 (Canadian dollars). Since this is an entry-level job, I feel $20 is too much and I should have said something less. Minimum wage is $15 in my province so I figured $20 would be okay but now I’m having second thoughts. I did reiterate that experience was the most important thing and that I don’t really care about the salary but I’m not sure if my interviewer wrote that part down. Am I ridiculously overthinking this or did I actually screw up?
