One of my current job interviews is with a family owned company (it is run like a corporation) and I have met with one of the procurement executives for my first interview and here is how it went:
1st Interview - In person - I met with the executive at my University ( the company is trying to recruit from my school and major as a Supply Chain Management Major). Another side note is that only 4 people interviewed in my major and two were basically begged to interview because it is a great opportunity and no one seemed interested but me and another person. They also knew of who signed up and who was pretty much told to go. I was asked mostly behavioral and STAR questions which I was more than prepared for because of my prior work experiences. Later that day he texted me saying that he has posted the job on the website and would like for me to apply for the position on there as well. I applied and immediately received a message asking about setting up a phone interview.
2nd Interview - Phone - My second interview was fairly short with a recruiting team member that lasted about 25 minutes and was asked basic questions about why I want to work here and a few more STAR based questions which I was able to answer fairly well. After the phone interview, I received an email about how a few more people would like to meet with me soon. I promptly replied that i would loved to and sent me a schedule for the interview and it is as followed:
1-140 Meeting with Demand Planning Manager
145 - 215 Meeting with procurement supervisor
230 - 315 Meeting with the original executive I had interviewed with
So I am just trying to see if anyone has any advice on what to expect. I have never had a job interview process with three different interviews with one being meeting with three different higher ups. The optimistic side of me is hoping that it is a formal meet and greet and the people i will be reporting to want to give me a run down of what is expected. The realistic side of me feels that It will be a much more in depth interview about my skills and what not. I have been brushing up on some stuff I learned in school but just wanted someone else's opinions as well. Thank you again for reading and responding!
