Interview dilemma

I had my 4th interview with a company and it went really well but I’m worried about one question. The interviewer said “what kind of distractions do you anticipate working from home?” I think they were fishing to see if I have kids. I am female and have two young kids but I responded by saying “I think the distractions at home are not much different than distractions in an office setting”. The interviewer said “ok some people have pets or kids that are a distraction” and then moved on. My kids are in daycare full time so I didn’t feel the need to share that I have kids but in retrospect, it might have been better to be transparent and say I have kids but they are in daycare full time.

My concern is that they could look me up on Facebook and see that I have young kids and pass me over because I didn’t say anything about kids when they indirectly asked. Should I email the hiring manager and say “I just want to be transparent that I do have kids but they are in daycare full time”?

I realize they can’t legally discriminate but it still happens all the time.
