Completed a marketing presentation for a prospective job - was denied the job but they utilized most of my ideas 1-2 weeks later

Howdy ya'll.

I lost my job due to COVID and have been actively searching through open marketing positions for different companies. I saw an opening for Digital marketing for an Insurance company and applied. A few weeks later I complete a screening, then the following week I complete an interview with a would-be supervisor. A week later I complete a 'Final Interview' with that supervisor and a head of another department. I follow up after not hearing back after another week and I'm told they're trying to make a decision between myself and another candidate, and to help in making the decision they're asking both of us to create a presentation of competitive analysis, and suggestions for one of their new policies and how we would market it. I spend 6-7 hours probing through competitors as well as their own strategies and complete my presentation.

Before I begin screen-sharing on the day of the presentation, they ask if I consent to allowing them to record my presentation for later review. I thought this was a bit strange but agreed as I'm in dire need of a job and really wanted this position. I present, and had believed I nailed my presentation.

The following day I get a call from the hiring manager, who I've built a good relationship with, and she tells me that they are not interested in hiring me for that position, but I would be better suited on a different team (social team) in the company. She then says that team is not hiring for at least another 6-9 months. I'm bummed out but I totally understand the situation and continued my search.

One week later, I'm just scrolling through facebook and notice that I received an ad for one of their policies that I was tasked with creating suggestions for. I was both happy and kinda confused about this, so I dove deeper into their facebook ads paged and noticed 2-3 of my suggestions from my presentation were used. Down to the exact post that I talked about boosting from their page. I then went back and found some of my other ideas, (one being a google ads presence which they had NONE of) and decided to see if they were using some others. Low and behold, they were using google ads as I suggested, even using some keywords that I had talked about in my presentation. The ads are extremely poorly created, so I know they did not hire any marketing firm worth a damn to complete it.

I'm sorta at a loss right now. I've thought about sending them an invoice for my services & consulting, but that doesn't really get me anywhere. I've also considered emailing or calling the hiring manager (who is from a different department) and letting her know what happened - also probably not getting me anywhere. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there something I should be doing in the future to prevent this from happening? I know I don't own any IP for google ads, or facebook ads, but it seems like the specific strategies I outlined are being followed.

TLDR: Had a marketing presentation for a job I was interested in. I crushed the presentation, then got a call and was told I was not right for their team. One week later, I started seeing a good amount of my hard work being used by the company.
