I asked for an employees contact info to see if he could cover my shift and asked if that would be alright- I got this shortly after:
I don’t want to do the schedule anymore.... I HATE our employees. Oh they want money but they don’t want to work.
Followed by this:
Sorry about the first message! That was out of frustration for my high schoolers right now and meant to ——-(husband). They are making my life hard for the weekends.. so unprofessional and I apologize. It’s been a day.
The message came a minute after she “read” mine on iPhone. I’m just not sure about working somewhere if the manager hates the employees. I wasn’t crazy about the job anyways and think I’m just gonna go. I don’t really want to share why with other employees and cause issues. Just don’t really care to be there. How would you handle this?
